At Brussels, we are looking for a Payroll Manager to join our team!


How you’ll Make an Impact


As the Payroll Manager, you will lead a team of 1 Payroll Officer. The team is dedicated to ensuring smooth and efficient operations across our administrative and payroll processes.

As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating the team on all payroll processes and activities for 300 employees.
  • Supervising payroll management to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timelines.
  • Acting as the primary link between the external payroll company (Partena) and our organization.
  • Ensuring that the Payroll/HR systems comply with relevant social law regulations.
  • Offering proactive advice on official procedures and obligations toward the tax authorities, NSSO, and other official bodies.
  • Managing official procedures related to memberships, including NSSO, Dimona registration, health insurance, orange, group insurance, Pluxee, etc.
  • Collaborating closely with the HR, sales, mobility, and accounting teams to align processes and improve workflows.
  • Monitoring and supporting the team to provide accurate responses to employee queries.
  • Managing and mentoring 1 Payroll Officer, fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Overseeing the renewal and creation processes for working permits, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

What is your profile?

You:

  • Are fluent in English, Dutch and French.
  • Have strong knowledge of labor and social laws & regulations.
  • Bring proven experience in team management, with a track record of leading and mentoring teams effectively.
  • Are proactive and focused on continuous improvement in processes and systems.
  • Have experience working in large organizations with complex payroll and administrative requirements.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration across teams and with external partners.
  • Have experience with Cafeteria Plans and Mobility Budgets.
  • Bring a minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll or a related field.
  • Have experience managing working permits, including renewals and creation processes.
  • Experience in consultancy and familiarity with Partena are a plus.
  • Certified Prevention Advisor – Level II (Belgian Well-being at Work legislation) is an asset
